This is a bit of a personal update. Last week marked our 3 year anniversary for Mr. Dominic Stone & I. I love that man, and I appreciate everything he does for our little family and for me. Everyday I love him more than the last. He is my best friend and I look forward to growing old and spending many many more years with him.
We never went over the top for our anniversary, it just isn’t our style. Maybe for our 25th we will throw a big bash.
We spent the whole day just hanging out the two of us. Dominic had never experienced the Old Strathcona Farmer’s market, so guess where we went? Yep, we braved the cold and hit the market & the Ave. . That’s how we spent our first few days as a married couple. Strolling down the Ave hand in hand, sipping coffees, boutique shopping and enjoying the fine dining. Later, we met up with friends & family for spaggetti & meatballs. Yum! Best day ever.

I am so ready for Spring! Warmer weather, green grass, birds chirping, and mud puddles. I love spring! I’ve still got to find the perfect pair of rain boots, rain coat & umbrella. I’m thinking polka dots.
To welcome in Spring I am going to be offering mini-sessions on two different days, at two different great locations. One in Spruce grove, the other in Edmonton. These sessions are great for families, couples, momma’s to be, or High School Seniors wanting some great pics to show off to their friends & family. Here are a few basic details below .

This morning we woke up to a beautiful sunny frosty day. I just had to grab my camera and head out and document the frost. It feels like spring is approaching. In the afternoon, we even had little birds play on our deck, I regret not being fast or stealth-like enough to sneak a few pics of them. Here are my frosty pics. Now to Wendy’s for a chocolate Frosty. hmmmmm!

There are a few locations, specific poses, and ideas I would like to try out and it seems like we’re gonna get some warmer weather, so I thought I would put out a casting call for specific maternity, newborn, and couple models. Casting call models are required to sign a model release and will receive a complimentary session and one digital file (regular pricing applies for the purchase of additional items). Here is what I am looking for::
1. Young stylish couple. For some wintery photos & some night-time photos. I would love to do this photo shoot sometime this month while it still gets dark early.
2. A stylish momma to be who is available in her 32-34th week in March -April.
3. A Newborn baby (under 10 days only) with darker skin.
4. Twins or triplets.( 5 yrs & under)
For newborns it is best to contact me before the baby is born so I can make sure to leave room in my schedule. If you know of anyone in your family or a friend who fits any of the descriptions, please pass on this blog post.
